Two Years On And Still Following The Path

Last Autumn themed photo today, not that I'm not going to show you more this season! Anyway, this post marks the 2 year anniversary of this blog. I can't believe how 2 years of my life have flown by and most of the time, almost every day, I've been posting on this blog and visiting you, my cyber (virtual?) friends, seeing the world through your camera lenses. The CDPB community is a remarkable one, full of wonderful bloggers and photographers, who offer support and advice in all sorts of capacities. My thanks go to friends and followers of Cheltenham Daily Photo, old and new.

Todays winding path photo, hazed by a misty morning, is dedicated to all those out there who follow a path not knowing what is around the next corner.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
What a feat. 2 years is a long time to be at it and I've so enjoyed your photography and your humor. The interest you have in your city really shows - thx for giving us a view of the beautiful, the unusual, the funny, and the ordinary. Gorgeous anniversary photo - makes me want to take the walk.
(We have sweetgum trees here and this is what balls I'm used to look like - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Liquidambar-styraciflua-fruit.jpg - but it cannot be a chestnut if it has a 5-point leaf - do the leaves change to a lovely red?)

Well Marley, it's a pleasure following you down that path. I love your take on your city and I quote you often! Hope you're in for the long haul. I appreciate your comments on my blog so much. Thank you my friend. Happy Birthday!

A two year path seem very long and strenuous when beginning to contemplate that journey. But, if you hadn't taken that first step 2 years ago, you'd still be 2 years older ... and look at all the wonderful images you and Marley have made on that journey. And think back on all the fun! Congratulations!!

You come a long way since the start of your blog in two years but what I find is we go around weaving in and out and recrossing yet always there is that unknown just around a corner we've passed near before but never turned - all the best for the next two years.

Happy Anniversary! I am happy I found your blog, and will continue to visit. I think we are 'cyber' friends, not virtual ones. Somehow I think virtual means we're not real...and we are!

I like this photo...what's around the bend? Only year 3 will tell!

Congrats! I'm still a couple of months short of my 2 years!

What an intriguing scene in your photo - I'd love to wander along and see what's around the corner. A metaphor for life, perhaps?

Sorry, missed your DP birthday until I noticed it on CDP portal. 2 years is a lot of pictures and time spent. Well done. It is about a year since I first stumbled onto the whole Daily Photo world and I am pleased that I did. Gerald is right, you just never know what is around the next corner.
