Black And White And Red

Here is another snowy scene from the Prom. As you can see, I've played about with the photo a bit and I am very pleased with the result! Modesty is my middle name! Not much more to say, apart from we are due more snow overnight and tomorrow. Winter isn't done yet!

This is outstanding. This is for me good use of digital manipulation concentrating on a colour, but not to correct the image. No deception. You can send me this one for Christmas. In fact you get a dozen done and I'll buy them off you. I'll email you.

Wow, I love what you've done with the red. It's such a great contrast against the snow. I agree with Babooshka's comment above. You can send it to me for Christmas too!

I think manipulation is okay if you don't go overboard, and you have not. I like the focus on the red, and the whole shot.

i love the shot , it emphasises the red color and give the shot a little special touch !

You're quite right to really like this photo, never mind modesty, it really is brilliant.

Even your mailboxes are red? Cool! And it's the first time I've seen a cluster of red phone booths. Love the effect!

brr it looks cold - my central heating broke down last night so have been snuggled by the gas fire all day and my wife's stayed wrapped up in bed with a halogen heater in her room. The plumber finally came at 3pm - he fixed the problem by hoovering out all the dead insects from inside the boiler!

red is the heart of this composition. and I agree, it will make a good holiday card.

I like all the reds. The color stands out about like the cardinals show up against our bare gray tree limbs.

yep, it looks like winter there, too! nice shot today...I like the red bank of phone booths...you don't see phone booths here much anymore...the airport is about the only place that you notice them. I guess they assume everyone has a cell phone....

In this age of cell phones, I wonder how often those phone booths are still used. I like your work here.
